I've been observing in a classroom in Syosset recently and during my lunch hour I always wind up in Borders (even though I have about 12 books in queue right now!)
I dont know how it happens, but I get lost in there...every friggin time.
I ran into the teacher whose classroom I was observing in - turns out she is just as big a dork as I am with books and she helped me shop, giving me some great suggestions. I hope I can student teach for her in the Spring because she was awesome!
